Cremation consists of the reduction of the body to ashes. For this to happen, the will of the deceased is sufficient, which can be expressed through:
- Holographic will, dated and signed;
- Membership in a specific association;
- Verbal communication to their family members.
If this will has not been expressed in writing, the person may still be cremated if the spouse or next of kin requests it.
Each procedure is carefully and thoughtfully coordinated by the Viola family. Ashes may be buried in a cemetery, kept at one’s residence or scattered.
Cremation services, carried out by Viola Funeral Home, also include assisting families in fostering ashes or burying them at cineraries or cemeteries. Family members may, in addition, request the scattering of ashes in open places dear to the deceased.
